How It Works
From search to booking, here's how FerryPilot works
FerryPilot connects aircraft owners and operators with qualified pilots through search, requests, and a straightforward booking workflow.
For Aircraft Owners
- 1
Search pilots
Filter by aircraft type, ZIP code and radius, language, flight hours, PIC hours, rate, and more. Results appear on an interactive map and in a list side by side.
- 2
Review a profile
Click a pilot's map marker or result card to open their profile — experience, certificates, languages, availability, and rate.
- 3
Request the pilot
Send a request with your aircraft, departure and destination airports, dates, and trip type (one way, round trip, or multi-leg).
- 4
Pilot accepts or declines
The pilot reviews your request and responds. If accepted, the request moves into the booking workflow.
- 5
Booking confirmed
As the booking progresses to the authorized stage, contact information is unlocked so you can coordinate directly.
For Pilots
- 1
Build your profile
Add your aircraft experience, total/PIC/SIC hours, certificates, type ratings, languages, and passport countries.
- 2
Set your rate and availability
Set your daily rate and mark yourself as available or unavailable.
- 3
Receive requests
Aircraft owners find you through search or the map and send trip requests with their details.
- 4
Accept or decline
Review each request and decide whether to accept or decline.
- 5
Fly the trip
Once a booking is confirmed, contact information is shared so you can coordinate directly with the client.
